Danielle Gallagher
Postdoctoral Researcher
Danielle received her B. Sc. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Marshall University, where she did research on secondary metabolite production in plants. In 2021 she received her Ph.D. from Brandeis University where she worked with Dr. James Haber to characterize the mechanisms of gene editing via single strand template repair. Danielle joined the Corn lab in April 2021 as postdoctoral researcher with interests in further understanding the mechanisms of DNA damage and utilizing these insights to develop tools to edit the genome.
