Hong Ma received her BS degree at the Shandong Agriculture University in China. She has previously worked at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the University of California, San Francisco, using mouse models to study gene function and regulation. She joined the IGI as a Staff Research Associate in February 2016.  She will be using the CRISPR-Cas9 system for DNA library screening and generating mouse models. Her research interests include molecular biology, plant and animal breeding, and cancer research.
