Jiyung Jenny Shin

Jenny Shin received her PhD in Metabolic Biology from University of California, Berkeley in 2016, working with Dr. Danica Chen on the regulation of mammalian aging. Jenny joined the IGI staff as a Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2016 and is currently using CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome engineering to understand genetic pathways that control hematopoietic stem cells and metabolic disorders.
