Marija Banović
Postdoctoral Researcher
Marija received her Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Rijeka in 2015. She worked with Prof. Antonija Jurak Begonja on the role of Vps34 in proplatelet formation. She received her PhD in Genome Biology from ETH Zürich in 2024, working with Prof. Jacob Corn to identify mediators of erythroblast enucleation by CRISPR screening. She continued working in the Corn Lab as a postdoc in June 2024 and is currently studying the role of the exocyst complex in erythroblast enucleation.
