Lucas Kissling
Master's student
Lucas Kissling received his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Science from ETH Zürich in 2018. In his Bachelor thesis he focused on genome editing with Cas12a-RNP to create large deletions in the mouse genome. In another seven month Semester Project in CNIO Madrid, he made use of the Rcas-TVA and CRISPR/Cas9 mouse model developed by Prof. Dr. Massimo Squatrito to study fusion proteins found in human brain tumours. Lucas joined the Corn Lab in October 2019 for his Master thesis where his focus lays in increasing HDR efficiency exploiting other cell repair pathways.
