Erman Karasu

Erman received his Ph.D in molecular biology from Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School in 2018, working with Dr. Scott Keeney focusing on the role two meiosis specific genes (cyclin B3 and Ankrd31)in mammalian meiosis. Erman joined the Corn Lab as a postdoc in May 2019, is currently using CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome engineering to understand novel genetic pathways in response to DNA damage.
